Das Blauen-Institut (in Münchenstein, Schweiz) befasst sich mit neuen Erkenntnissen zu Pflanzen und andern Lebewesen (insbesondere Pflanzenkommunikation und Beziehungsnetze), mit zukunftsfähigen Konzepten in der Landwirtschaft und den dazu nötigen Forschungsstrategien. Hauptaufgabe des Blauen-Instituts ist die Übersetzung von Expertenwissen in allgemein verständliche Inhalte.
Florianne Koechlin, Biologin und Autorin, ist verantwortlich für das Blauen-Institut.
Le Blauen-Institut (à Münchenstein, Suisse) se consacre aux nouvelles connaissances en matière de plantes et autres organismes vivants (notamment en termes de communication des plantes et de réseaux de relations), en s’appuyant sur des concepts durables en agriculture et sur les stratégies de recherche qui y sont nécessaires. La principale mission du Blauen-Institut est de transcrire le savoir des experts afin de le rendre accessible à un large public.

The Blueridge Institute (in Muenchenstein, Switzerland) explores new scientific findings about plants and other living beings (particularely communication between plants and their use of networks) and new concepts for agriculture and research strategies for this purpose. The main task of the Blueridge Institute is the translation of expert knowledge into concepts that are easily understood by the general public.
